Wrecks & Reefs of the Northern Red Sea

I had a fantastic week on Typhoon with nine of us from Luton BSAC making the trip.

 We dived all the top wrecks in the Northern Red Sea and some of the best coral reefs.

We booked with Tony Backhurst and the standards were very high. The cabins all had A/C and en-suite facilities. The food was 1st class and the crew were friendly and helpful.

Our guides on board were Barry & Simon, they behaved all week, and didn't give us

BSAC divers any trouble, highly recommended.

4 dives a day were available as promised, either off the back of Typhoon or from one of her two RIB's, these were crewed very well and the surface cover was always spot. Seven of us dived twinsets, adding that bit of safety with the redundant air source. Briefings were on a large plasma screen in the lounge and covered everything you need to know. You always had the option of diving with a guide, but being typical BSAC divers we usually did our own thing.

And you can to, as long as you don't dive like a Muppet!

Simon videoed most of the dives and produced a stunning DVD at the end of the week, very popular.

Barry ran training courses, either PADI or ANDI I did the ANDI Advanced Nitrox course and found it very in depth and helpful.
