The camera is equipped with a 2.5-inch, 230,000-pixel LCD monitor. The
monitor can be clearly viewed horizontally or vertically from a 170
degrees angle, which enables you to enjoy photographing even underwater
where the light can be reflected diffusely while viewing a clear image and
shooting mode on the screen. The picture image and data can be easily
confirmed by using the histogram display, which allows you to control the
exposure more precisely while taking test photographs on the monitor using
the different luminance distribution of the picture image. The monitor
also features grid guide display (when in the shooting mode) and white
saturation highlights display (when in the playback mode).
